Abstrakt: A micromechanics model was used to establish the net contribution of the fibers to the flexural strength of the composites and the intrinsic flexural strength of the fibers. One explanation can be due to the intrinsic properties of both fibers, another due to flexural strength of alfa fiber reinforced polypropylene composites evolving linearly against the fiber contents, unlike cotton reinforced composites (Figure 5) (Espinach et al. [7]).
