Abstrakt: Lay summary: Effective screening and vaccination programs can potentially eliminate cervical cancer in the future; however, to accomplish this goal, we have to be able to offer services to all girls and women. In particular, women who live in rural areas and women who have low socioeconomic status are at highest risk.Efforts are required to improve access to care at all levels for these women at risk. Cervical cancer continues to affect thousands of women worldwide despite effective screening and vaccination programs. Eliminating disparities in access to care, including those related to socioeconomic status and rural location, will be necessary to improve outcomes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
