Abstrakt: |
The authors indicate the features of the existing support-propulsion systems of tunneling machines, which cause an artificial increase in metal consumption, limit the scope of application and restrain the development of the scientific and technical level of mining machines. A new class of tunneling machines – the "geokhod" - is presented. The method of movement is described, which makes it possible to exclude the force of gravity from ensuring the stability of the machine and the process of forming traction and pressure forces. The principle of operation of the geokhod support and propulsion system is described. Variants of design solutions, their analysis and application areas are presented. The tasks that are planned to be solved during the creation of outside-the-contour support-propulsion systems and development paths are outlined.
