Abstrakt: An analysis on the effect of variations in wind speed has been carried out with variations of 5.8, 6.5, 7.8, and 8.9 m/s and variations in the amount of load used in the form of LED STRIP lamps with an amount of 1 to 5 pieces on the performance of a radial generator on a horizontal wind turbine. From the results of the study, it shows that the relationship between wind speed is relatively linear, both to the generator rotational speed, output voltage, current and electric power. Meanwhile, the addition of load at the same speed causes a significant decrease in electric current, output voltage and power in horizontal wind turbines. at a wind speed of 5.8 m/s with a load of 1 – 5 led lamps, a decrease in power occurs from 48.14 watts to 12.54 watts, while at a wind speed of 6.5 m/s with a load of 1 – 5 led lamps produce power 63.48 watts and down to 22.08 watts. This wind turbine generator can be used as a street light.first, second, and third level headings. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
