Abstrakt: Primary brain tumors are among the most important health problems worldwide. The most common of those are gliomas account (52%) are the most common primary brain tumors in adults. They are generally very resistant to treatment and are therefore associated with negative outcomes, and meningiomas account (15%) of all primary brain tumors. ROCK1, which is a protein serine / threonine kinase was a major downstream effecter of the small GTPase. ROCK1 plays a role in cancer and in particular cell motility, metastasis, and angiogenesis. Lactate is a hydroxy carboxylic acid. Tumor cells uptake high amounts of glucose as a primary energy source, producing excessive amounts of lactate. In this review, we discuss the association between glioma and meningioma and the blood levels of ROCK1mRNA and lactate in Iraqi patients. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
