Nowadays, the Urinary tract infection remains very common. As many as 50% of women report having had at least one UTI in their lifetimes. As the rate of the people in the world resort to use substitutes for glucose and they are ahead to use S.rebaudiana product, Because that we studied in this review the effect of stevia extraction on the bacteria which caused urine track infection. Methanol extract had a highest activity against UTI bacteria and the water extract had a lower effect on these bacteria. but we didn't find any research study the effect of stevia extract against Staphylococcus saprophyticus, Although have conflicting results between the studies but all these studies showed good activity of Stevia extract against UTI bacteria compare with different antibiotics.
