Single and coupled channels calculations for fusion reaction of 6Be + 209Bi, 11Be + 209Bi and 15C + 232Th halo nuclei systems.

Abstrakt: In this study, the determination of the cross section of the total fusion σfus, the distribution of the barrier of the fusion Dfus and the probability Pfus for the reactions: 6He+209Bi, 11Be+209Bi and 15C+232Th have been conducted which includes halo nuclei by using two approaches based on quantum mechanics and semiclassical mechanics for both "coupling and no-coupling" cases. The processing of the semiclassical is including the Wentzel–Kramers–Brillouin (WKB) approximation to explain the relative movement between target and projectile nuclei, and the method of continuum discretized coupled channels (CDCC) to explain intrinsic motion for both target and projectile nuclei. The semiclassical calculations for the "cross section of the total fusion reaction" σfus and the "distribution of the fusion barrier" Dfus agree reasonably with the experimental data for the systems 6Be+209Bi, 11Be+209Bi and 15C+232Th.
