The article reports about the partnership of the Squaxin Island Tribe with the Washington Corrections Center in Shelton, Washington, to ensure the corrections facility uses more treated wastewater for day-to-day uses. Topics include the further boost in the population of coho salmon in Goldsborough Creek; the views of Erica Marbet, biologist for the tribe, on how the more water will translate into more fish; and James Chavez, the project coordinator, on the water flows of Goldsborough Creek. |
