Abstrakt: Estimated cerebral perfusion pressure (eCPP) and intracranial pressure (eICP) were calculated using a validated formula [[4]]. CBFV measures were taken before and within 45 min of the initiation of VV-ECMO, when hemodynamic and respiratory conditions were considered stable; CBFV and the Pulsatility Index (PI) were recorded into the patient data management system and retrospectively analyzed. Dear Editor, Veno-venous extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (VV-ECMO) is used to treat patients with severe acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), after failure of conventional therapies.
