The materials of the work consider the features of changing the hydrodynamic conditions of electrolyte flow in the interelectrode gap (IEG) during ECDP (electrochemical dimensional processing). Mathematical model of description of process conditions taking into account: thermal conductivity, mass transfer, convective and potentials of chemical processes is considered. The influence of gas release on electrodes (anode and cathode) for electrochemical cells and their contribution to the total components of the operating mode were studied. Experimental dependencies of temperature change, current density on different processing modes are presented. It was established that the dynamics of metal processing and accuracy indicators depend on the change in hydrodynamic characteristics of the electrolyte flow in the working zone of the electrochemical cell.
