This paper compares and analyzes public pensions and household savings for freelance, self-employed, and parttime employees aged 60 and over.Specifically, we conducted an ordinal logistic regression analysis using the “the Japanese Panel Study of Employment Dynamics 2019”, and as a result, clarified the issues of various freelance life courses. In particular, in the analysis of public pension benefits, explanatory variables such as "gender," "presence or absence of spouse," "educational background," and "years of experience as a full-time employee" became significant, and the results were different from those of self-employed and part-time employees. The remaining issues are analysis by panel data and design of social insurance system regardless of the existence of employment contract. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
