This article presents the design of a boost converter that is combined with a solar panel system and a tiny wind generator using hybrid methods. They are used in wind turbines with full-bridge DC to DC converters. The performance of the converter is improved by using a DC-to-DC converter with a passive filter. This passive filter efficiently reduces the voltage stress on the medium frequency transformer in a DC-to-DC converter. A dc-to-dc converter-based wind turbine control in a dc-grid system was also demonstrated. The suggested system is implemented using MATLAB. The simulation results on the DC-DC Boost Converter show an increase in power. The suggested system was simulated in the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
