Russia's agriculture is facing global challenges where technical modernization, the introduction of modern technologies and the development of export potential are becoming critically important. There remains such a systemic problem of the development of the industry as investment insufficiency. Development institutions are one of the instruments of state policy to eliminate the factors that hinder the economic and social development of the country. In 2020, the Strategy for the Development of Agricultural and Fishery Sectors until 203 was approved, according to which the development institutions for the agricultural sector contributing to an increase in the volume of investments in fixed assets were Rosselkhozbank and Rosagroleasing. In addition, Russian Export Center and MSP Corporation operate to solve other problems. The activity of the development institutions of the Russian Federation in the agricultural sector is analyzed, such as mechanisms of their work, as well as the measures and tools provided to support agricultural producers.
