Abstrakt: The article focuses on a study which examined the fate of challenge infection with Nematospiroides dubius in mice vaccinated with adult worm extracts in Freund's complete adjuvant. Outbred 6-weeks-old Quackenbush mice were used for the study. All mice were killed under either anesthesia by cervical dislocation. The blood was allowed to clot. Vaccination of mice with crude preparations of soluble and particulate antigens prepared from adult N. dubius demonstrated differences in the ability of these mice to mount a protective response when they were immunized with both antigen fractions together or with each alone.
