The article reports that Scops Owl Otus feeds on Orthoptera and large insects through a conservation project, as the Ornithological Station promotes extensive exploitation of grasslands, in order to strengthen insect populations. Topics include vineyards for the melodious linnet Linaria cannabina, in forests affected by extreme events for grouse Bonasa bonasia; and impact of climate change on the Alpine Niverolle Montfringilla nivalis, and studying migration with global ositioning system. |
