Scientific and technological progress predetermines the degree and speed of development of industrial enterprises. It covers all parts of the innovation process, including basic theoretical research, applied research, design and technological development, development of new technology samples. Labor costs for the installation and commissioning of the latest equipment are reducing, the material and technical base is updating, productivity is improving. The tendency to increase the influence of scientific and technological progress on the level of production costs, existing in Western countries with developed market economies, is crucial for the Russian Federation. The main priority of government support is innovative technologies. The Russian Federation is a world leader in the field of chemistry, physics, medicine, aerospace technology; therefore, innovative technologies are available and applicable in Russian enterprises, and specialists implementing innovations seek to use advanced technologies.
