The paper studies the problem of the structural durability of unique buildings, reinforced concrete bridges, and cement concrete pavements of automobile and service roads affected by the environmental factors. First of all, these are carbon emissions, which have a destructive effect on construction materials and products. The paper studies the causes of destruction and air carbonization of construction materials and suggests the ways to reduce these effects. It is shown that cement hydration products transfer to denser states, which is accompanied by the concrete volume decrease and shrinking deformation that disturb the structural integrity of the materials and even lead to their fracture. It is found that the negative effect from shrinking deformation and carbonization on constructional materials and products can be reduced by the addition of calcareous rocks to the cement composition or lime-sand binding materials, for example, limestone or dolomite.
