Initial training in all youth sports is an important element of the management and successful development of the sport. The article presents the dynamic strength values of adolescent taekwondo athletes who are trained using two different methodologies. The results for girls and boys were compared after a one-year training-training period of preparation. The research contingent includes 183 boys and 80 girls, divided into two groups: control and experimental. The training of the control group is conducted according to the standard methodology, and the experimental group according to the specialized methodology of the pedagogical model for accelerated training in Taekwondo-Do. The subjects studied were children and adolescents training in nine clubs developing Taekwondo-Do ITF in the Republic of Bulgaria. The approved methodology has a recommendatory character. Through it, the accelerated development of the physical qualities of 7-11-year-old taekwondo competitors can be achieved. With the accelerated development of the basic physical qualities of taekwondo fighters, the study, mastery, refinement and application of fighting techniques are significantly improved.
