Peer Mentoring After Experiential Learning.

Abstrakt: The students then worked with faculty in the sport management program to identify topics of interest they would explore during the experience, and share with other students upon their return. Historically, experiential learning has been an important component of sport management education. In light of the overall importance of experiential learning in the sport management discipline, and the aforementioned positive impacts of short-term, high-profile experiences in particular, it would be useful to extend some benefits of the experience to other students who did not volunteer. Ledford et al. ([9]) later explored volunteer motivations at Super Bowl LI specifically in a sample of sport management students and found that professional development and altruism were important motivating factors for this group.
