There are nine samples of barium titanate that were already made by the sol-gel method and sintered at 700 °C, 800 °C, and 900 °C, which are consist of three variations of the weight percentage of polyvinyl alcohol in 0.0 wt.%, 1.0 wt.%, and 2.0 wt.%. The crystalline structure of these samples was identified as a tetragonal perovskite from its diffracting plane. The crystallite nano-sized and broadened were studied through their quantities of crystallite size, lattice strain, and dislocation density. The Debye Scherrer equation and Williamson-Hall plot approximation were both applied for identification, quantification, and characterization of mineral and ceramic microstructures.
