A hybrid human detection from images has been developed to monitor classroom physical distancing. The hybrid method namely background subtraction method and Local Binary Pattern method has been applied to the developed application. The background subtraction method is used to reduce the search area. The method isolates moving object from the background. The local binary pattern is applied as human descriptor. The hybrid method is tested experimentally. The physical distancing detection for classroom surveillances can be applied using the method developed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
