Color Visible Light Communication Technique Based on Machine Learning Compensation Map for 6G Communication Service.

Abstrakt: In the visible light (VL) communication based on the multi-color channel between color LEDs and photodiode for 6G communication service, a uniform communication performance on color channel may be desired, and VL communication services under multiple color channel are usually used by only one VL receiver. However, it has been known that the received signal has severe color distortion due to the receiver performance variation under multi-color channels since photodiodes produce more electrical current in red than in green or blue color channels. In this paper, we estimate the compensation extent of distortion in advance by using a compensation map from machine learning data and utilizing its implemented VL transceiver. We can see that the previously published technique without compensation function of distortion problem meets a failure in the color VL communication trial because of the different color channel characteristics, whereas the proposed scheme has no distortion problem due to the performance variation of each color VL channel in the overall range of communication distance.
