Conclusions Certain 2D grey scale and colour Doppler ultrasound signs (placental lacunae, placental bulge, subplacental hypervascularity and lacunae feeder) can help to predict massive peri-operative bleeding in PAS If any of these 2D ultrasound markers are identified, blood components and adjunctive hemostatic procedures should be prepared to optimise PAS management, even in experienced centres. To evaluate various 2D and 3D signs as predictive markers for massive blood loss >= 5,000 mL peri-operatively in placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) disorder. [Extracted from the article] |
