Abstrakt: The diagnosis of superficial endometriosis, the most common phenotype of endometriosis, by TVS, remains challenging. Transvaginal sonography (TVS) has demonstrated accuracy in diagnosing deep infiltrating endometriosis (DIE) and ovarian endometriomas, and is used as a first-line imaging technique for endometriosis.
