The article focuses on effect of Ethyl ascorbic acid (EAA) as a beauty product and compares it with that of L-ascorbic acid (LAA). Topics discussed include benefits of EAA over LAA including superior aqueous solutions performance, antioxidant with high affinity for biomembranes, and better stability profile than LAA; manufacturing process of EAA and LAA; and effect of EAA on UVA-irradiated keratinocytes (HaCaT). |
