| Abstrakt: | The article discusses the early single sideband (SSB) transmitters favored the phasing system of generating SSB signals. Topics include the Phasing systems (see Figure 1) led the way for SSB operation in the early days, because it offered a simpler solution to getting a sideband rig on the air; introduction of first SSB transmitting product by Eldico Electronics, and Barker and Williamson (B&W) produced receiving and transmitting adapters for SSB operation. |
