Abstrakt: This article focuses on characterization of the normal lymphocyte population cytolytic to Burkitt's Lymphoma cells of the cell line. In the present study, the nature of the effector cell is examined in more detail, both in humans and in experimental animals. Depletion of E rosette-forming cells either had little effect or increased anti-EB cytotoxicity, whilst E rosette-enriched fractions had decreased cytotoxicity compared with nonfractionated lymphocytes. This indicated that E rosette-forming T lymphocytes are not the effector cells.
