Kosovo mines are removing overburden and exploiting coal with five rotary excavators in the overburden and four in coal. All rotary excavators have their own rope mechanisms for raising and lowering the working wheel. The problem with these ropes is their rapid wear and tear without warning which causes fatal consequences for people and equipment. The importance of the work is due to the need to improve the efficiency of excavator ropes in mines and prevent their rupture. No rotor excavator ropes have been examined since 2000. Technical analyzes have shown that it is possible to increase the performance of an excavator by increasing the durability of the ropes of all working equipment in the mine. Purpose of the work: To analyze the possibility of using existing ropes with the software of the device "Meraster" for excavators in mines. Methodology: measurements and verification of all excavator ropes and self-propelled tapes for working environment safety. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
