This article focuses on Mosher Guilt scales. In an effort to better understand and define the sexual preference dimension, studies have begun to employ a variety of self-report personality inventories. The purpose of the present study has been to further the knowledge of the nature of homosexuality by dealing with the two problems, the lack of generalizability of results and the absence of cross-gender research. A second measure chosen for inclusion in the present study was hostility. This variable was included in an effort to determine whether the relationship between hostility and hostility guilt would be similar in homosexual and heterosexual populations. |
