Many of the Feature updates released for Windows 10 caused problems, the worst being version 1809 (released October 2018), which Microsoft quickly suspended after it started to delete users' files. Glad that Windows is ditching "absurd" updates I'm glad Microsoft has ditched the absurdity of updating Windows 10 indefinitely with Feature updates. I liked the idea of gradual updates when Microsoft introduced it in 2015, but it didn't take long for the twice-yearly updates to become a real pain. [Extracted from the article] |
