Abstrakt: The article cites a study that might be viewed as a partial replication of a previous study in that Chidren's Manifest Anxiety Scale (CMAS) scores of clinic-referred and non-referred children were compared. It was expected that the clinic-referred group would score higher on the CMAS than non-referred public school children, the former being more likely to have problems associated with anxiety to begin with, as well as to have the situationally-induced anxiety of being at a psychiatric hospital. Clinic subjects were tested individually by a psychologist who also administered other tests as part of the subject's diagnostic evaluation.
