Abstrakt: | The article focuses on Parent Management Training (PMT) to reduce a child's symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and co-occurring disorders. Topics discussed including ADHD impacts the child's immediate surroundings, such as at home and school, creating a series of negative reciprocal interactions; differences in perceived level of maturity between children with ADHD and their classmates; and modifying and enhancing the traditional PMT programs. |
