Improving the efficiency of SPWM (sinusoidal pulse with modulation)-based DC-AC converter and conduction mode on renewable energy.

Abstrakt: The growing necessity of electrical energy and the waste of fossil energy has encouraged the utilization of renewable energy sources. AC (alternating current) load has been currently predominant, while the energy source from the sun has relied on DC (Directing Current); therefore, requiring a DC-AC Converter. Generally, the switching technique in the converter utilizes SPWM, but the harmonics at the output are relatively enormous at the high order. The author hence proposed to combine the SPWM and Conduction Mode. This merging is performed by inserting the SPWM signal into Conduction Mode. The simulation results indicate that the combined switching technique produces 29 percent harmonics improving the efficiency of DC-AC converter by 95.83 percent. Synchronization from converter with grid and simulation of renewable energy are additionally presented at the end of the discussion. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
