Modern requirements regarding the production technology of electrical isotropic steels (EISs) for energy-effective mechanical engineering are considered. The directions of works on improvement of chemical composition and steelmaking practice, annealing of hot-rolled strip, cold rolling conditions, and final heat treatment towards the optimal size of EIS micrograin are shown.
