Some involve consortium partners who are specialized in ethics/moral philosophy and who are able to review the ethical aspects of prospective developments independently before they are implemented. Apart from this, it was pointed out that ethics itself lacks established and agreed-upon methods that might be systematically applied and that there was an urgent need to develop standardized ethics procedures.
