In the article, the authors present their study which examined the protein composition of the extracellular vesicles (EV) that were secreted from the skin of the amphibian specie Bombina maxima. The methods used include western blotting, electron microscopy and proteomic analysis. Also cited is how EVs play a key role in the transport of biologically active materials and for intercellular communication. |
