Interestingly, Burlington's bulk oil dealer was located along the interchange track between the Katy and the Santa Fe. A new model railroad Ottawa serves as the base of operations for the two branch lines. Features I've always had a model railroad in the basement, first in my initial home many decades ago and the two different layouts in my residence of 47 years. My layout design places a Santa Fe interchange at Ottawa Junction, just around the corner from the layout's main yard at Ottawa. [Extracted from the article] |
