Abstrakt: Introduction. COPD patients each experience pain in profoundly different ways. Although psychological factors shape pain, the current therapeutic approach disregards the attitudes and expectations of COPD patients regarding chronic pain control. Aim. We examined the acceptability of the Mind Genomics questionnaire (MGQ) for assessing the emotional reaction to chronic pain in COPD.Method. In total, 139 COPD (experimental) and Rheumatic disease (Rd, control) patients, complete the MGQ, which uses the topic of chronic pain, and deconstructs it into four questions, each with four separate answers. Spearman's test of correlation and standard deviation are used to verify the internal validity of the MGQ. Results. The MGQ shows a significant correlation for both groups with higher education and better material status. COPD patients, (+ 60 age), have the most response, "I would like regular therapy sessions to reduce my pain, and I will prescribe a doctor." Rd patients want exercises and stretches that reduced the pain without pills.Conclusion. MGQ discover the way of thinking about chronic pain so that the MGQ could help clinicians more easily identify the personality of COPD patients, and harmonize therapies modality to get the best results.
