| Abstrakt: | This study examines net economic effects of local currency by estimating net employment effects. Estimation results suggest that the introduction or expansion of local currency fail to affect the size of employment in the region at the si-gun-gu level. This suggests that there is considerable bias in the estimates of previous studies that promote huge positive economic effects of local currency. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
