Abstrakt: This article presents information on several books. First published in 1994, "Cross-Cultural Topics in Psychology," is a collection of articles has been updated to include new scholarship. One article from the first edition has been deleted and there are three new pieces as well as a new foreword and epilogue explaining the changes. Like the first edition, this volume reflects the contributions of scholars throughout the world, with a substantial representation of contributors from East and South Asia. The collection is divided into five parts. The first part introduces concepts of cross-cultural psychology, language and communication. The second part discusses developmental aspects, with essays on childhood and adolescence, gender issues and old age. The third part examines the role of emotion, personality and belief systems. Originally published by the David M. Kennedy Center at Brigham Young University, "CultureGrams: The Nations Around Us" has been for many years a respected source of concise cultural information on the various countries of the world.
