Abstrakt: This research aims to examine the postgraduate theses thematically on misconceptions in chemistry education in Turkey between the years 2000-2020. In this context, the document review method was used to conduct a content analysis of theses registered on the official website of the Council of Higher Education [CoHE] National Thesis Center on the misconceptions encountered in the academic field. Therefore, this research carried out a content analysis of access-authorized graduate theses, made in Turkey between 2000-2020 and registered on the official website of the Council of Higher Education [CoHE]-National Thesis Center, by document review method on the misconceptions encountered in chemistry education. For this purpose, a total of thirty accessible postgraduate theses with full access permits were examined, eight of which were doctoral and twenty-two were master's degrees. For this reason, the research sample consists of thirty postgraduate theses with full access to "misconceptions in chemistry education" carried out in the last twenty years. Theses examined within the scope of the research; type, year of publication, the purpose of research, research method, working group, data collection tool, data analysis method, conclusion and suggestion are classified and subjected to content analysis. In addition, all doctoral and master's theses registered on the website of the National Thesis Center were reached by using the keywords "chemistry" and "misconceptions" as data collection tools. As a result, it has been observed that in the theses studied for 20 years on misconceptions in chemistry, the theme of detecting misconceptions is mainly focused on, followed by the elimination of misconceptions.
