P‐102: Design Approach of NFC Antenna Integration into LCD Panel.

Abstrakt: A NFC antenna prototype integrated in a 5.65‐inch LCD panel has been developed, to guarantee NFC antenna is compatible with metal cover and improve user interaction experience. Compared with the traditional FPC‐based or PCB‐based NFC antenna, the main advantage of glass‐based NFC antenna is that it can obtain sufficient magnetic flux through a larger coil area, because there is no interference problem of the mechanical structure, benefit from the ferrite which has been added in the backlight. The design approach of NFC antenna integrated in LCD panel was expounded, the key parameters (such as coil area, shape of backlight backcover) of the module was determined by evaluating the magnetic field distribution through simulation platform. Finally, the experiment achieved a detection range of 40mm, which verify the effectiveness of the simulation model and proposed design approach. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
