Abstrakt:	This paper offers a panoramic view on a Dutch public collection of antiquities which contains Etruscan materials, not at all well known. It is the private collection of the 19th cent. collectionist van Westreenen whose house became a museum, dedicated mainly to the history of books (Museum Meermanno-Westreenianium in The Hague, today Museum of the Book).
