Abstrakt: Currently, the brand's electric motors with a capacity from 3150 to 4200 kW are used to drive feed pumps. However, with the current design solutions, there is an apparent loss of energy on the drive. These are losses during the conversion of steam energy into electrical energy and losses during the transformation of power at the stations ' own needs. Also, losses are observed in the transmission of energy to the electric motor, losses in the electric motor itself, and losses in the transmission of torque from the electric motor to the pump. To eliminate these losses, it is proposed to use a steam turbine to drive the feed pump, which will significantly reduce the consumption of electric energy for the plant's own needs and, accordingly, reduce the fuel consumption of energy for electricity production. The article considers the option of replacing the electric drive of the feed pump with a steam turbine drive for a real object, taking into account the operating modes of the main equipment. A circuit solution was developed to link the steam turbine drive for feed pumps to the station's thermal scheme, taking into account the features of the equipment layout, the operating modes of the equipment, and the required thermal loads of consumers. The dependence of the cost of electricity supply on the initial pressure and temperature of steam at different values of fuel prices is established. The steam parameters are determined, at which the minimum consumption of electric energy for own needs in the structure of the total costs of the plant is provided for the current and forecast fuel prices.
