Electrical and mechanical properties of a polyamide-6-based composition filled with iron nanoparticles.

Abstrakt: The paper investigates the mechanical and electrical properties of nanocomposites based on polyamide-6 with iron nanoparticles. The shape and intensity of the diffraction maxima of the X-ray phase analysis are investigated. It is shown that at a concentration of nanoparticles of 2-3 wt% leads to an increase in mechanical properties. It is shown that the introduction of iron nanoparticles leads to an increase in the strength characteristics of the composites up to 3 wt% filler contents; a further increase in the filler concentration reduces the strength characteristics of the nanocomposite. For a clear presentation of these results, laser cutting of samples of identical thickness with different filler concentrations was carried out qualitatively. Investigations of the dielectric constant and absorption of electromagnetic waves of the samples in the microwave range are discussed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
