The phenomenon of illegal immigration is one of the most important current topics of interest to researchers, which requires study, research and diagnosis in order to distinguish between the terms used to denote this phenomenon, which are often used as synonyms despite their differences, including: clandestine immigration, illegal immigration and irregular immigration, In addition to trying to identify the main causes and contribute to proposing solutions to address them efficiently. This operation is conducted through analyzing, interpreting and discussing this phenomenon on the basis of data and statistics provided by official bodies and those published by media. The use of the term illegal immigration in the Algerian media discourse is addressed through the media's treatment of the phenomenon and the challenges it faces. As well as Different dimensions of the phenomenon of illegal immigration and the measures taken by the authorities to fight it are highlighted.
