Abstrakt: Y-doped alumina ceramics were synthesized at various dopant concentrations and sintering temperatures. According pulse cathodoluminescence spectra and thermoluminescence curves obtained ceramics demonstrated formation of new defects in their structure, associated with aluminate phases formation. Significant growth of thermoluminescence intensity during formation of ceramics with an Y3Al5O12 phase will make it possible to ensure its promising use as a phosphor. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
