Al2O3−BeO ceramics was synthesized from α–Al2O3 nanopowder by using high-temperature annealing of pressed compacts in BeO crucibles in reducing conditions. We found that thermoluminescence (TL) curve has a dosimetric peak at 520 K. It was also found that the isothermal decay curves of TL behave anomalously in the temperature ranges of 423–463 К and 533–623 К. This anomalous behavior consists in an increase in the decay time with increasing isothermal heating temperature. The obtained results are interpreted in terms of the TL model associated with energy distribution of traps which have different lifetimes of charge carriers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR] |
