Efficacy of some insecticides was evaluated against painted bug Bagrada hilaris (Burmeister) on mustard during rabi season 2016-17 and 2017-18 at the Crop Research Centre in SVP University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut. Imidacloprid 17.8SL was found to be the most effective followed by thiamethoxam 25WDG, dimethoate 30EC, spinosad 45SC, novaluron 10EC, Neemarin 1500ppm, Neem Seed Kernel Extract (NSKE), Beauveria bassiana @ 2x109 CFU, and Metarhizium anisopliae@ 2x109 CFU.
