Aravamuthan et al.22 have proposed clarification on the 2007 definition of CP to avoid variability in diagnosis and suggest assigning a diagnosis of CP while also stating the etiologies. Fifty-six children had a progressive and/or neuromuscular disorder not compatible with CP, including 11 children who were enrolled with a diagnosis of CP and subsequently diagnosed with a progressive condition after additional testing (Figure S2). It has been suggested by local healthcare providers that the program title and education materials include children with "CP-like" conditions to further remove CP diagnosis as a barrier. Of these 183, 71 (39%) had conditions that were consistent with the definition of CP and included in the CP registry list of conditions.20 The remaining 112 children had varied diagnoses such as varying genetic abnormalities, developmental delay, and seizure disorders.
